Maggie Soares
Maggie Soares is a well accomplished soccer athlete who is currently studying Human Kinetics at Capilano University, B.C.. Her soccer experience includes playing Capilano University Woman’s Soccer, in which she earned the MVP in 2006; and playing with the BCCAA, where she earned two All Star Awards.
Besides her passion for playing soccer, Maggie enjoys coaching and designing sport specific programs for individuals or teams that want to enhance their abilities and performance.
She hopes to use her degree in Human Kinetics to teach physical education classes at high schools and to open up her own fitness facility specific to sports and wellness.
Recently Maggie joined forces with her brother Mark to start Maxx Force Sports Training; their goal is to offer an inspiring and challenging environment that pushes their clientele to achieve maximum results. Maggie’s considerable experience of highly competitive sports has instilled a strong work ethic and sense of commitment to her “team”, whether that is her sport team or group of student athletes. She is an inspiration to young athletes who hope to strengthen their own physical conditioning to gain a competitive edge on the ice.
